Photos of us in Hyde Park at the Red Hot Chili Peppers gig on Sunday 20th June 2004. Ok, so most of them are crap but thats because we were miles away and I took all the ones of the stage using the monitor on the back of my digital camera while holding it above my head :-/ Mind you, in some ways you can see more in the pictures than we could actually see there, as the camera is higher than our heads!
My sister Michelle paid for our tickets as a present. Thanks Michelle!
All of the girls in their ponchos (we were glad we bought them as it rained a lot!). Left to right they are Zana, Detzi, Michelle and Charlie.
Charlie and me in our ponchos. Photo taken by my sister Michelle.
Another photo of Charlie and me. My sister actually managed to take three of these before she realised that my digital camera didn't make a "click" noise when you take a photo... sheesh, girls eh? ;-)
Believe it or not, this is James Brown! You can just see a red shape on the small screen to the left of the stage and that is him. Honest!
This is James Brown again. Really, look he's there on the screen I promise!
Come on, you can see it's him now for sure! That guy in the crowd with the leather jacket on doesn't seem that interested in James Brown though...
Ah, now this is the Chili's. They had some really good displays on the screens, but my photography and camera do not do them justice.
You can actually see Anthony Kiedis singing in this one on the smaller screen. Look closer...
You may be able to see him again.
And again.
Wow, pretty colours.
Oi! Down in front!
I really wish they would get off those peoples shoulders!
I think you may be able to see John Frusciante the guitarist in this one.
More pretty lights.
You can see Chad and Anthony on the large screen in this one.
It's difficult to see, but I think thats Flea.
I think this one is John again.
Nice Flare.
Anthony doing his thing.
A bit blurry this one.
Yes, it's getting too dark for my camera :-/
Pretty lights again.
Ooooh, more pretty lights and flares. And thats the end. You have to believe me, it was a lot better being there than it looks. Well worth it, thanks Michelle!
