This is Lappa Valley Steam Railway. Really a place aimed at kids, but I wanted to go anyway :-)
And yes, this train is called "Muffin"!
The railway is built around an old tin mine. The chimney and the tower in this picture are original mine buildings. This is a huge engine house which housed one of the largest beam engines in Cornwall.
As I said, its huge! The main shaft which is on the right behind the bushes is 160ft deep, but full to the top with water. Most of the mines in Cornwall are full of water, so Poldark Mine is pretty unusual.
I wanted to take a picture up inside the tower, but I don't have a wide angle lense so its crappy.
